1- Descriptive Test
AJKPSC conduct descriptive test for Administrative positions Like Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Superintendent Of Police, Project Manager, District Education Officers, Deputy District Education Officer, Assistant Education Officer, Tehsildar, Naib-Tehsildar etc.

AJKPSC Syllabus For Assistant Commissioner/ Section Officer/ Project Manager
For the post of Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Surpretended of Police and Project Manager AJKPSC syllabus is comprised of 9 descriptive papers. Islamic studies subject envisaged a maximum weightage of 250 marks with two papers. Islamic history of 100 marks and Islamic fiqh, hadith and explanation of holy verses contain 150 marks. The Assistant Education Officer Test is of 400 marks which consists of a total of 4 papers. It includes English, Urdu, Pakistan affairs and Islamic studies.

AJKPSC Syllabus For Assistant Director B-17 and Assistant B-16
- General Ability Test ( GAT)
This test is mostly conducted for the post of Assistant B-16 and Assistant Director Planning, District papulation welfare Officer and many others. AJKPSC test of Gat is comprised of the following weightage

- Urdu 20 Marks
- Pakistan studies 15 Marks
- Islamic Studies 15 marks
- Kashmir studies 10 Marks

AJKPSC Syllabus For Lecturer
AJKPSC syllabus For Lecturers consists of 100 number Mcqs test from Subject. For example, if it is a test for an English Lecturer, It will be from the English language and Literature only.
AJKPSC Syllabus For Subject Specialist
Furthermore for the post of Subject Specialist other than 70 marks MCQs from the subject, 30 marks of pedagogy are included in the syllabus of AJKPSC.
